Car Seat/Stroller Combination

This product combines the type of infant car seat and pram. An infant carrier clicks in a wheelbase, allowing you to take the baby from car to stroller without waking him. A practical and cost-effective choice, however, The Wanderer is usually not the same quality as the walkers for this purpose alone, as it on the "transport Strollers." One should expect that this combination products will not last as long.

Evenflo Easy Comfort Premiere Travel Stroller

Combines the popular On My Way Position Right V infant seat, discussed in the car seat section of this report, with a fairly decent stroller. The seat clicks into the stroller and into a base which is secured in your car. The stroller features a few nice extra's such as one hand steering, drink holders, a removable snack tray, shock absorbing wheels, a canopy and a large basket. The Easy Comfort models improve upon earlier versions because they have added a one-hand fold feature that we have heard from many users works very smoothly. Evenflo's stroller systems are great when the children are small and you can still click in the car seat, however, once they outgrow this feature many have complained that they are left with a halfway decent stroller instead of the stroller of their dreams. The biggest complaint that we have heard about the Easy Comfort strollers is that they are very bulky and heavy, taking up lots of trunk room and making it difficult to maneuver through crowded aisles at the mall. The Easy Comfort line also includes the Deluxe Model that comes with the On My Way infant seat (this one only has a three point harness) and the Advantage V and Ultra V models that come with the On My Way Position Right V infant car seat with different padding and styling. Our recommendation extends to the other two models that come with the On My Way Position Right V car seat but not the Deluxe model which does not.

Graco Lite Rider Travel System

Combines the LiteRider car seat with the Lite-Rider stroller. This stroller folds easily, the wheels can tackle just about any terrain and it has a large storage basket. It also features a removable snack tray and 2 position seating, however there are some reports that the tray pops off when the stroller is collapsed. The stroller, when used without the car seat, can be converted to a carriage as well (a great feature). The seat has a level indicator to ensure proper installation, a 3-point harness and a stay in car base, however it does not seem to fit in grocery carts. Along with all of the strollers in this cate-gory it is very bulky, something to keep in mind if you plan to do a lot of traveling.

Baby Trend Snap-N-Go LX

The Baby Trend Snap N Go LX is a variation of the car seat/stroller combo. Essentially, it is a metal frame with wheels that functions as a stroller when you click your infant car seat into it. The company states that it fits Century, Evenflo, Cosco, Gerry and Kolcraft infant seats. Keep in mind that this means it does not work without the infant seat and must be put in storage once your child grows out of their infant seat. On the plus side, however, it is much less expensive than traditional car seat/stroller combos and it is so lightweight and easy to operate that many parents found that they used it more often than they would have used a traditional stroller. The LX also features a very roomy basket, making it convenient for those shopping trips.
